Bexley Training Hub
At Bexley Training Hub, we exist to develop and improve primary care practice across the London Borough of Bexley.
Making a difference in Primary & Community Care
Training hubs are a locally based resource that supports workforce planning and the delivery of services that are responsive to the needs of the practice population. Education and training are an essential element of good practice. The training hub supports the learning needs of both the clinical and non-clinical workforce as well as the wider health and social care community through collaborative education and training opportunities.
Formerly known as CEPNs, Training Hubs have been introduced by Health Education England to deliver training and education at a local level for current and future healthcare staff in primary and community care. Bexley Training Hub is currently based in Bexley Village. We work with Bexley CCG and other local organisations to ensure quality and value of training and education.
The perceived benefits of community-based networks are common and include a more localised approach to training needs assessment and education provision and shifting the focus from acute to community-based education and care.
